We are the student association for Pfaffenhof 1 & 2.
Founded in 2012, we are a student-run association that organises everyday life at Pfaffenhof 1 & 2 — by students, for students.
Our biggest annual event is the Sommerrausch — a summer celebration that brings the whole residence together. But community at Pfaffenhof goes beyond one event; it is about creating a real home, not just housing.
Our volunteer tutors are your go-to contacts for anything related to life here at Pfaffenhof.

We speak up when conditions fall short. Your comfort, safety and wellbeing matter to us — inside and outside our walls.
Our Community Room
Students and tutors invested real time and energy into building a community room at Pfaffenhof — a place for gatherings, celebrations and everyday connection.
In 2025, VSSW repurposed this space and converted it into a conference room, taking away something that truly belonged to the residents. We are pushing for alternatives and will not let this go unaddressed.
We Are Fighting for Better Living Conditions
Pfaffenhof 1 is in need of renovations. We are actively campaigning for improvements and making sure the voice of residents is heard — because you deserve safe and healthy living conditions.

History & Background
Pfaffenhof Tutorien e.V. was founded in 2012 with a clear purpose: students should actively shape the place they call home. What began as a small group of engaged residents has grown into a registered association running events, managing communal facilities and supporting residents.
VSSW is the official landlord of Pfaffenhof 1 & 2. For many years, the collaboration between VSSW and the student association worked well. Today, we face new challenges around living conditions, and we continue to advocate for residents' rights and the improvements our community deserves.
